Our vision is simple
We exist to tend to the heart of Jesus and tend to the heart of the home.
Tend School is a place for life-on-life discipleship. We long to tend to the heart of the Lord while tending to the heart of the home. We believe that when we gather around the presence of Jesus and break bread together, something supernatural takes place. This is an invitation for a fresh start. This is more than just a school; it’s a place for family, connection, healing, restoration, and a time of reset that will have a generational impact! At Tend School, you may come as a student, but you will leave as a part of a family. Are you ready to join us on a journey of living life from the inside out?

RETREATS
Deuteronomy 6:4
“Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.”
Who We are.
We are the Koulianos family and are passionate about wholeness and health in family! There are many incredible discipleship resources out there that focus on training for public ministry and we both honor and celebrate that. These are vital resources in extending God’s kingdom in the earth! However, the one thing we feel is often overlooked seems to be healthy family. The key to longevity in ministry is intimacy with God and prioritizing family. What would it look like in the earth if we slowed down, much like pulling back an arrow, to teach people that the heart of God is generational and that we can give our great, great grandkids the gift of health in ministry? At Tend School, we live to build from the inside out.
Come and be a part!
Love,
Theo, Rach, Theo Malachi, Henry, Caleb and Levi

The Academy at Wellspring
https://academyatwellspring.com/ (https://academyatwellspring.com/)
“Jesus reminds us to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind.” We aim to teach children to do just that by “developing the whole child in Jesus’ name”—focusing on the spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual, and social growth and well-being of each child in our care. This isn’t daycare or babysitting; it’s our chance to show and tell children about God’s great love.” – The Academy at Wellspring Mission
The Refuge Academy
https://www.refugeacademy.com/ (https://www.refugeacademy.com/)
“The Refuge Academy is a preschool ministry of The Refuge Church (http://www.therefuge.cc/). We provide a program of excellence for children ages 2 years through pre-K in early education, along with an understanding of God’s love. We offer an inclusive environment that meets each child’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual needs.” – The Refuge Academy
HOUSING
We do not provide housing at this time. If you are coming in from out of town we suggest a 30 min radius from Franklin, TN. If you are approved, we will do what we can to assist you with answering any questions you may have regarding this topic.
FUNDRAISING
Genesis 22:14
1 Some time after these things God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am!” Abraham replied.
2 God said, “Take your son—your only son, whom you love, Isaac—and go to the land of Moriah! Offer him up there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will indicate to you.”
3 Early in the morning Abraham got up and saddled his donkey. He took two of his young servants with him, along with his son Isaac. When he had cut the wood for the burnt offering, he started out for the place God had spoken to him about.
4 On the third day Abraham caught sight of the place in the distance.
5 So he said to his servants, “You two stay here with the donkey while the boy and I go up there. We will worship and then return to you.”
6 Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and put it on his son Isaac. Then he took the fire and the knife in his hand, and the two of them walked on together.
7 Isaac said to his father Abraham, “My father?” “What is it, my son?” he replied. “Here is the fire and the wood,” Isaac said, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?”
8 “God will provide for himself the lamb for the burnt offering, my son,” Abraham replied. The two of them continued on together.
9 When they came to the place God had told him about, Abraham built the altar there and arranged the wood on it. Next he tied up his son Isaac and placed him on the altar on top of the wood.
10 Then Abraham reached out his hand, took the knife, and prepared to slaughter his son. 11 But the angel of the Lord called to him from heaven, “Abraham! Abraham!” “Here I am!” he answered.
12 “Do not harm the boy!” the angel said. “Do not do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God because you did not withhold your son, your only son, from me.”
13 Abraham looked up and saw behind him a ram caught in the bushes by its horns. So he went over and got the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. 1
4 And Abraham called the name of that place “The Lord provides.”It is said to this day, “In the mountain of the Lord provision will be made.”
Genesis 22:13-14
Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”
God’s Provision
Jehovah Jireh, occurring only once in the Old Testament, has two meanings in Hebrew: “The Lord my Provider” and “my Vision, or the One I see.”
If the Lord is asking you to attend Tend School, it is his joy to provide every cent associated to your act of obedience. Notice the verbiage, not a burden, but a sincere privilege that brings Him joy. He loves to provide for His kids, especially when it is connected with His desire and your destiny. God has no anxiety and neither should you in this exciting process. Remember, He provides, you receive and obey.
Before God calls you to do something, He already has the provision in place. Abraham was called out of His house, with instructions, “Go to Mount Moriah, take your son and offer Him as a sacrifice.” That is a major request, with little details. He just knew He was to obey and go to a specific location to fulfill the request of the Lord. As He went and as He obeyed, the Lord revealed there was a ram waiting for Him this entire time. God will never call you and not provide for you.
With that being said, Abraham had to do the following things:
- He was available
- He obeyed the Lord
- He left His house
- And He gathered people in verse three to help him on his journey.
This is what I want to leave you with; God may have called you, but it was up to Abraham to ask others to help him get to the land God was calling him too. There are people in your life that are a part of this act of obedience. They are waiting for you to ask them to be a part.
This is a co-laboring Kingdom. God asks one who need others to fulfill the request of the Lord. Please don’t think this is just on you and don’t feel bad to ask others to join you. Abraham couldn’t get to that place on his own, he knew who to ask and they were willing to help him obey the Lord.
Take some time right now to ask who God wants you to approach. Don’t just think, who has money. They may be a part, but remember God always uses the unlikely to fulfill his purposes in the earth. Abraham asked two servants. Ask Holy Spirit, who are the servants you’ve sent me to get me to my Mount Moriah (Tend School).
Psalm 121: “I look up to the mountains—does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber….The Lord himself watches over you…. The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.”
Philippians 4:18–19: “At the moment I have all I need—and more! I am generously supplied with the gifts you sent me with Epaphroditus. They are a sweet-smelling sacrifice that is acceptable and pleasing to God. And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”
FACE TO FACE OR EMAIL
First things first, pray and ask the Lord for a generous list of people to approach (family, friends, pastors, acquaintances and or organizations)
There is power in face to face interaction. If you have the ability to meet with people in person, make it happen. Make sure when you approach the conversation in person and or online, express your appreciation for the time being given to you. Then be led of the Lord to share your heart in the most concise way possible.
This leads me to emphasize preparation. Have an idea of what you are going to share. Show the individual what obedience and excellence look like. Then after your heart has been communicated, follow up and keep them updated whether they sowed monetarily or not. Remember, time is the greatest asset we have. If someone took the time to connect and or read your letter, show gratitude and honor by involving them in your journey.
